Edelweiss Air are resuming their Zurich – Cape Town non-stop schedule arriving on 2 October with the A330


Edelweiss Air, a leisure airline serving popular international holiday destinations, operates a seasonal two weekly non-stop schedule from the beginning of October 2012 until the beginning of May 2013 between Cape Town and Zurich using the Airbus A330. 

North bound flights depart in the evening on Tuesdays and Fridays, returning on Monday evenings and on a day flight on Fridays.  As the airline is a 100% subsidiary of Swiss International Air Lines it belongs to the Lufthansa stable.

This also means that Miles & More members can collect miles and redeem awards on Edelweiss Air tickets with a Swiss International Air Lines codeshare number.

 The company operates a small fleet of aircraft and are known for providing a quality product with an excellent service at affordable prices.  Edelweiss Air offers two classes namely economy and business class.  

Their premium product is currently not a flatbed seat and for this reason offered at a cheaper price.
